One Type Dice RPG System

So I love Dungeons and Dragons, Am currently both playing and GMing games. However Dungeons and Dragons can seem very daunting for people who have not played the game before. My husband has expressed an interest in trying to play an RPG with me, but is very confused and put off by the sheer volume of things in DnD.

So I was hoping to try and create an RPG System that took out some things, changing others, while still being an enjoyable player expiriance.

But I need your help.

Working on this, and testing it with only one or two people in my real life can only help me so much. So, I would like to ask you if you could all help me as I post devlogs and work through what works and what doesn't.

I intend for this system to be a free system (I will probably be making Campaigns that I will charge for, but that's a seperate thing) And I'm hoping it can be adapted to Modern/Superhero/SciFi/Eldrich Detective (My Husbands favourite genre is Sci Fi, but I am more familiar with Fantasy and need to be able to work in a genre I know more about)
