You work for the USR (United Salvage Retrieval) Company, sent out to the far reaches of space to salvage the space wrecks and derelict space stations left from the Galactic War.
You and your team leave your ship to start your next Salvage job, unaware of the treasures, and dangers you might come across.

Strength and Technology make sense to me but I don't understand what a Material Skill Roll would involve.
A more suggestive term than Material might be helpful.
You make a fair point. it was meant as like an appraiser skill only, for like various materials or cargo, but I suppose Evaluation might be a better term for it.
