Human Expansion in space was halted at the edge of the Space known as the Void, when a Pulse of unknown energy disabled all ships and killed the crews within.

Only the brave, or the truly foolish dare to venture into the Dead Zone, the threat of another Pulse ever present. But for those who dare, the riches are great.

The Last Stop Space Dock is the space station closest to the Dead Zone, built by those who would profit from the dct ships left floating in the no man’s land between Human Space and The Void.

You want to be one of them, to take a ship into the Dead Zone to salvage the ships and tow them back to the dock, and reap the riches within.

But to do that you need a ship, and to get a ship you need Coin.

Which brings you to the dock and its most recently salvaged ship. You watch as the Salvagers leave to fill out their paperwork.

You have only a short amount of time before they return to get into the ship and scavenge anything of value that you can carry to the market to sell.

A Coin Flipping, Card Collecting Space Salavage game.

What happens if it's not a face card? I feel like I'm missing something beyond "flip coins as fast as you can."

if you open the door to take the card at the top of the pack, if it’s a face card you follow the face card rules, if it’s just a number card you take it. If you don’t open a door you discard the top card without looking at it.

The goal is to have as many cards (treasure/stuff) as possible by the end of the 10 minutes

sorry for the terrible screenshooting I’m doing this from my phone!

thank you for trying the game, I’ll see if maybe there’s a clearer way to explain that part of the game. So thank you so much for your feedback!

I think you may just need to spell out "each number card is one point" explicitly. It might be more interesting if (say) number cards were worth their value and you only had five "pockets" for gear, so you have a press-your-luck aspect.

See, this is why I like it when people comment. I think your idea of pockets is a great one, so you would have to discard cards to get new bigger numbered cards. That might be something a a longer than one page game could have, I'll have to consider this. lol. I'll see what I can do to change the way it's written to make it obvious.

thank you again!

I think you have room to say: "Number cards represent salvage. Your space-truck can only hold five pieces of salvage, but you can discard one whenever you like. When you decide to stop or the timer runs out, sum the values of your number cards to get your score."
